In June 2022, Bratislava will once again serve as the central meeting place for stakeholders from all walks of life to contribute solutions to the most pressing issues of today and tomorrow. The 17th edition of the Bratislava Forum will take place on 2 – 4 June 2022 in the Grand Hotel River Park in Bratislava.
GLOBSEC’s Bratislava Forum has established itself as the leading platform in the Central European region and one of the preeminent global strategic conferences. Since its inception, the Forum has provided space for both formal and informal discussions to generate breakthrough ideas for the challenges of our times. This year’s edition is no different and will seek to prescribe solutions and encourage decisive action and develop strategies to address the most urgent crises of the future.
Prior to the event, GLOBSEC proudly helped organise a trip segment of Ukrainian female parliamentarians touring Europe on a mission to make Ukrainian voices and interests heard across the continent.
Over two days in Bratislava, the members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met with the President of the Slovak Republic, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Leaders of regional NGOs and opinion-makers discussed together with MP Maria Mezentseva and MP Olena Khomenko at a GLOBSEC closed-door event how Central Europe can contribute and help Ukraine in these crucial times.
Two stages featuring over 100 top speakers
In concert with the main sessions, held across two interactive stages, the Forum will organize a roster of diverse thematic side events and exclusive brainstorming sessions. The combination of these conference features regularly attracts the highest levels of international media and journalists.
Reviving trust in a time of change
Countries have faced myriad challenges, either caused or exaggerated by the pandemic, where every nation has been taught valuable lessons on collective action, the need to work and the power of a resilient society.
At the 17th edition of the GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum, attendees and speakers will aspire to look beyond the current state of global affairs and focus on three acute challenges of today: sustainability, trust and change.
The 2022 Bratislava Forum will thus search for answers through 5 thematical pillars: Democratic Renewal & Power of the Society, Digital Era, Geopolitical Chessboard, Security in the 21st century and Sustainable World & Economic Recovery.
