Karloveské rameno
Karloveské rameno is one of the many Danube branches. Thanks to the flow and dynamics of the water, unique banks with floodplain forests were formed here, which represent important nesting and food habitats for many species of birds. If you’re lucky, you’ll even come across beavers. It is worth going here for a leisurely walk, by bike, fishing, boating or to the Water Museum. Visitors will find a wide range of technical monuments here, from glass pipes and decorative water valves to hydrants, well cuts and pumps.
Just a few steps from the museum, fans of water sports can enjoy themselves. On its shores there are shipyards where many top athletes grew up and are still growing up. One of them even received an architectural award.
