Bunker B-S 6 Vrba (The Willow)
Bunker B-S 6 Vrba is one of the preserved buildings of the Bratislava section of the Czechoslovak fortifications, in the premises of which there is now a museum.
This bunker was built in 1935 by the construction company Ing. Rudolf Frič from Bratislava and in 1937 building modifications were made to it so that it could be integrated into the overall defense system of Bratislava. The bunker crew consisted of 10 soldiers.
Since 2011, the building has been cared for by enthusiasts from a civic association, which aims to restore this infantry cabin to its original state from the period of mobilization in 1938, as well as to organize educational and cultural events in the field of military history.
