Access to Devín Castle will be limited on May 14 and 15
The most important international science festival STARMUS will be held in Bratislava in May, and since part of the program will take place at Devín Castle, its accessibility will also be affected.
A prestigious festival is coming to Slovakia, which is supported by the astrophysicist Garik Israeli and the guitarist of the legendary band Queen, Brian May, who also has a doctorate in astrophysics. Due to preparations for the festival, Devín Castle will be closed to the public on Tuesday May 14 and on Wednesday May 15 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
STARMUS is the world’s largest festival of science, music and other arts, bringing together the brightest minds and the most talented artists with the common goal of popularizing science and progress through their combination.
The event was created with the mission of inspiring the next generation of explorers and opening up the biggest questions of our time. The central theme of the seventh year of the STARMUS festival with the subtitle “STARMUS Earth, the future of our planet” is a tribute to the planet Earth.
