Central Europe’s leading bar show, the Mirror Hospitality Expo, returned to the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel in the heart of Bratislava for the second year. The two-day event, which took place between 7 and 8 May, offered a curated blend of educational experiences, including seminars, masterclasses, market showcases from local Slovakian brands, and food and drinks tastings.

The creators of Mirror Hospitality Expo are the team behind Mirror Bar, Bratislava, which earned recognition on The World’s 50 Best Bars extended list in 2023, securing the 90th spot. The team aims to showcase the exciting talent emerging from the Slovak and Central European bar scene, as well as hosting renowned global industry names.

In an effort to enhance the attendee event experience, Mirror Hospitality Expo has partnered with Whova. This app served as a central hub for participants, offering personalised schedules, interactive event maps, and networking opportunities, ensuring seamless engagement and connectivity throughout the event. Guests could access a map of the event, export seminars into their calendars and be notified beforehand.

Leading chefs and bartenders

Attendees had the privilege to watch the region’s most innovative bartenders, bar managers, chefs, and industry professionals showcase their skills in person. Among many successful Slovakian bartenders were Martin Siska and Adrián Michalčík, who started his career as a hockey player but found his true passion for bartending and today shows his art to guests in Oslo.
