Slovak Philharmonic at the fountain

Works by Slovak and international composers will be played by the biggest Slovak fountain, popular film music included.

The open-air concert of the Slovak Philharmonic in an informal setting under the baton of chief conductor Daniel Raiskin will once again bring a taste of what you can experience in the Reduta concert hall throughout the year. The spectacular concert is free!

Exclusively for this occasion, BKIS will build a special stage with an area of almost 180 m2, on which more than 75 artists will be standing at one moment. The artistic experience will be enhanced by LED screens for the transmission of a full-value experience even for visitors in more remote parts of the square. Last year, 6,000 visitors attended the concert.

With this concert, the Bratislava Cultural and Information Center will complete the rich program of the 49th Bratislava Cultural Summer, which brings dozens of theater performances for children and adults in the Janko Kráľ Park, various events for all age groups at Biela 6, a musical program in the Klariska Concert Hall, themed walks and much more.

Not only during the cultural summer, BKIS makes available artistically valuable events that visitors can see on intimate stages, but also in large-capacity spaces.

The first of the two final events of the Bratislava Cultural Summer at the Fountain will be a performance by the Slovak National Folklore Ballet Lúčnica on 31 August.
