Róza Radnóti – klavírny recitál
Piano artist Róza Radnóti, an outstanding representative of her generation, will present a solo recital in Bratislava. Róza is a multi-talented artistic personality, active as a classical pianist and interdisciplinary artist: she gives concerts, directs videos and interdisciplinary stage performances, and in her spare time she devotes herself to graphic art.
Programme:
Franz Schubert
- Impromptu in c mol D 899
Leoš Janáček
- Po zarostlém chodníčku I. č. (výber)
- V mlhách (in the mists) č. 1.
Franz Liszt
- Consolation Des dur
- Sposalizio

Róza studied at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where she had the opportunity to study with musicians such as Gábor Csalog, András Kemenes, Zoltán Fejérvári, Imre Rohmann and Rita Wagner. This year the young artist was awarded the prestigious Hungarian Annie Fischer Scholarship.
At the concert in Bratislava she will play works by one of her favourite composers, Leoš Janáček, as well as compositions by Liszt and Schubert. Róza likes to prepare programmes in which musical works interconnect, even build on each other, creating a new composition.
The day after the concert, we invite those interested to a special workshop during which you can watch an extraordinary film adaptation of György Ligeti’s piano cycle Musica Ricercata, directed by Mihály Kerényi and performed by Rózsa Radnóti. The screening will be followed by an on-stage interview with the director and performer in Hungarian. The interview will be interpreted into Slovak.
