Lukáš Oravec Quartet
On Thursday, 27 March, the second stop of the Lukáš Oravec Quartet tour will take place in Bratislava.
Lukáš Oravec Quartet traditionally starts its concert season Warm Up Tour. This kick-off tour in the new season is always preceded by collaborations with special guests, with whom this year the Quartet will collaborate.
The frontman of the group is accompanied by leading musicians from the Slovak and Czech jazz scene, Tomáš Baroš on double bass and Klaudius Kováč on piano and Marián Ševčík on drums. In the thirteen years of its existence, the Quartet has completed numerous concert tours and projects, recordings and collaborations with ensembles in the field of classical music. It has played more than 300 concert and festival performances in 15 countries around the world. The group has collaborated with over a dozen special guests from Europe and the U.S., including Grammy award-winning artists. Lukáš Oravec managed to record 10 albums and won 5 Esprit Award and Radio_Head Awards for the best jazz album of the year.
