Hudba očami skladateliek
The concert will present works by female composers from the Department of Composition and Conducting at HTF VŠMU. The program explores the question of what music composed by women sounds like today and whether it still carries the qualities of subtlety and melancholy that were historically attributed to it.
The program features three compositions by Táňa Hrdinka (a third-year bachelor’s student), showcasing her artistic development over the past three years. The concert will also include works by composer and lecturer doc. Lucia Papanetzová, ArtD., as well as pieces by Ema Boleková, Tereza Jaďuďová, and Olesia Stepura.
Performers include students and guest musicians from various departments: Albín Blaho (clarinet), Boris Borsányi (viola), Juraj Glasnák (cello), Sára Halčišáková (vocals), Anhelina Kydora (piano), Viktoria Kurthyová (saxophone), Jana Macíková (violin), Alena Osobová (flute), Ema Pisarčíková (piano), Daniel Truchan (piano), and Lukáš Zelenák (piano).
