Hooverphonic

Hooverphonic is a Belgian band formed in 1995 by Alex Callier, Raymond Geerts and Liesje Sadonius. They were later joined by vocalist Geike Arnaert. The band is known for its eclectic sound combining elements of pop, rock and electronica. They will also perform in Bratislava accompanied by a string quartet on Saturday April 5, 2025 to mark the 25th anniversary of the release of their iconic album The Magnificent Tree, which catapulted them to international success. Released in 2000, the album includes hits such as Mad About You and Vinegar & Salt”, which helped Hooverphonic gain mainstream popularity and strengthen their position in the music industry. The album The Magnificent Tree* is a major milestone in Hooverphonic’s career and combines trip hop, pop and orchestral elements. With it, the band has achieved worldwide recognition and a devoted fan base.
