Glupsk & Jakub Šulík

On Thursday, April 10, there will be a concert of the band Glupsk together with musician Jakub Šulík, who will accompany the band on drums.

Icelandic trio Glupsk consists of Vilhjálmur Yngvi Hjálmasson (bass guitar), Örlygur Steinar Arnalds (guitar, drums) and Guðmundur Arnalds (guitar). The trio decided to freely explore whatever concepts, genres or sounds they are interested in at the moment. Glupsk’s stylistic positions thus range from creating obscure electronic live-sets to being an experimental rock band with influences of doom metal, no-wave and noise. Often collaborating with other artists, the latest album Beyond Happy on the Superpang label was made in collaboration with Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson. Glupsk will perform with Jakub Šulík on drums, following a previous collaboration in 2021 focusing on improvisation.
