Two lessons of quick figure sketching with lecturer Juraj Horňák will take place on 12.2. and 19.2.2025 from 18:00 to 20:00 in Zichy Palace.

There is a certain quality hidden in quick sketching. Drawing as such is a form of getting to know the world and the ability to capture it in a more or less simplified form. When sketching quickly, this creative process reaches the boundary of conscious exploration and intuitive creation. The process itself becomes the most powerful experience, not the result. And what is more interesting to explore than the human body? The aim of the experimental course is to develop sketching skills, drawing technique and spatial perception.

The lecturer of the course is a game designer, draughtsman, an adept of doctoral degree at STU Juraj Horňak. For Drawing Sessions he runs workshops and quick sketching courses in museums and this time he will be focusing on the figure.

The small group will work together to create a safe, creative and stimulating environment for interactive sharing of work and feedback.
