Bratislava Vocal Consort in the Klarisky Concert Hall
Vocal ensemble Bratislava Vocal Consort will present an interesting dramaturgy of the concert of choral music
In the Klarisky Concert Hall, it will present a young Slovak composer Maria Jašurdová, who is very sensitive and suggestive in the processing of folk ballad lyrics, as well as the little-known “chansons françaises” for Francis Poulenc’s mixed choir a cappella (selection) in Slovakia.
Selected parts from the work of the English composer John Rutter “Magnificat” will be played at the end of the concert.
The soloists of the evening will be Erika Szabo, Hilda Gulyásová, Katarína Kvanková, Martin Janšák and Michal Stahl. Matúš Ferko will play the piano and the concert will be conducted by Iveta Weis Viskupová.
The Bratislava Vocal Consort is a chamber choir consisting of professional singers and contemporary and former students of the Bratislava Conservatory.
