Bratislava Christmas is back!
🎄Tune in for the most popular holidays of the year in the metropolis of Slovakia and spice up your Advent season with Bratislava Christmas markets.
Although in December snow is quite rare anymore, it does not affect the Christmas atmosphere. The light up streets with Christmas decorations are especially enchanting in the evening. In addition, the Christmas Market and the accompanying programme enrich the Advent season in Bratislava.
*Please note that starting the 24th of December until the 26th of December shops, restaurants and other services as well as the Christmas markets will be closed due to the national holiday.
For many years, a beautiful Christmas tree inseparably belongs to the local Christmas hue of Bratislava. In old Bratislava, it was not only a symbol of Christmas, but also of human fellowship, which the locals perceived as the main message of the holidays. This year, it is once again raised at the Main Square.
In addition to traditional Christmas dishes, the stalls at the Christmas market will also offer exotic flavors, which will appeal to both vegans and vegans. Again compostable tableware and returnable glasses will be provided and the waste will be sorted. Get a map in a pdf. by clicking on the picture:
You can also walk through the Christmas Forest on Primate’s Square. As usual, Bratislava primary and primary art schools will be involved in its preparation. The trees will be donated to charity for people who are less fortunate to experience Christmas as well.
The Advent programme will also take place in the Klarisky Concert Hall during the whole Christmas period, and particular city districts are also planning Christmas market or a thematic programmes.
The Bratislava Christmas is brought to the capital by the Bratislava Cultural and Information Centre.
