Bolero +

Dynamism, musicality, liveliness. Three iconic choreographies in which the physical form of contemporary movement becomes the content.

A thrilling choreographic composition, Bolero X, carries the signature of the sought-after Israeli choreographer Shahar Binyamini. He created an attractive movement abstraction on Maurice Ravel’s iconic composition for a large dance ensemble. The unison mass of dancing performers creates a visually strong, energetic image on stage.

Bolero X will conclude the programme of neoclassical works – preceded by Edwaard Liang’s Murmuration and Craig Davidson’s Entropy, choreographies we have re-introduced to the programme thanks to the great success of the previous seasons. The composed program showcases choreographies where stunning physicality and contemporary movement form will meet the expectations of even the most demanding admirers of the art of ballet.
