Concert
The monumental work of the phenomenal Polish composer and conductor Piotr Rubik – Tu es Petrus with texts of the writer Zbigniew Ksiazek, has been composed in honour of the pope John Paul II. The texts as well as the accompanying words to each composition is inspired by the poetry of John Paul II., his meditations or excerpts from the Bible.
The main element of the work Tu es Petrus is a 60 piece symphonic orchestra. The emotions of the concert will be augmented by a 55 piece choir and 6 soloists. The music of Piotr Rubik represents perfectly the message hidden in the compositions.
