Are you going to the Rača Grape Harvest?
In its original three-day format, this year’s grape harvest festival in Bratislava’s Rača will take place on the second weekend of September
From Friday 9th to Sunday 11th September, after a two-year break, it will offer large concerts of Slovak musical stars in the amphitheatre, a traditional allegorical procession or a number of refreshment stands. There will also be some novelties. The program starts all three days at 8 a.m., on Friday and Saturday ends at midnight, and on Sunday at 10 p.m.
The amphitheatre in the Knižka Valley will once again invite musicians, dancers and winemakers, an allegorical procession will take place and traditionally the young wine and snacks from all of the world cannot be missing.
A children’s zone focused on various plays, competitions and theatre performances will be located in the J.M. Hurban Park. Local artists will have space in the Municipal Garden. Another novelty will be the Festival of Folklore Hopes. It’s the preliminary year of the talent show dedicated to soloists, instrumentalists and singers from the Vrbenský Elementary School.
The winners of the Slovakia Got Talent show, the Old School Brothers dance group will perform on the main stage in the amphitheatre. The bands Polemic, Medial Banana, Gladiator, Peter Bič Project, Heľenine oči, Banda, Janko Kulich and Cimbal Brothers will play concerts. Of course, folklore or brass band music will be also available.
You will find various attractions for children in a traditional place and a number of stalls with local wine, food and various products will be at your disposal throughout the whole vintage. The area under the Zbojnička swimming pool will offer carousels for children, youth or adrenaline lovers again.
