Samizdatové dielo Jána Chryzostoma Korca

The exhibition „The Samizdat Work of Ján Chryzostom Korec“ was created on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth. Bishop – worker J. Ch. Korec created the most extensive work of samizdat literature in Slovakia during the communist regime, despite persecution, imprisonment and difficult conditions. His unofficial edition Library of Faith includes nearly seventy titles that were secretly printed locally and abroad. Korec wrote about theology, philosophy, history, and the natural sciences, and his works became a symbol of resistance to totalitarianism.
