Rytmy a algoritmy mapujú línie ženských autoriek
On Friday 14 March, a new exhibition entitled Rhythms and Algorithms* will open at the Czech Centre Gallery in the Czech House at Prepoštská 6. It will present a selection of works by Visegrad female artists who accentuate lines in their work.
Curated by Štěpánka Bieleszová, the exhibition collection focuses on the work of five prominent Czech women artists – Dagmar Havlíčková, Inge Kosková, Miriam Macků, Eleonora Pražáková and Milena Valušková – in the context of the Central European art scene. The latter is represented here by artists from Slovakia, Klára Bočkayová and Kvetoslava Fulierova, as well as artists from Hungary – Katalin Nádor – and Poland, represented by the work of the late Emilie Bohdziewicz-Winiarska from Kraków. The curator has also invited the emerging Czech artist Johana Pulgretova, who is mainly dedicated to spatial installations.
