Pianoday 2025

International Piano Day 2025 takes place on the 88th day of the year to celebrate and commemorate the 88 keys on the standard piano.

The event is based on an idea by German pianist and composer Nils Frahm in 2015 because, according to him: „There is no harm in celebrating the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most importantly: listeners.“

The Pianoday 2025 event is conceived as a conversation between two pianists – a dialogue between wings. The pianists will be Vladislav Šarišský and Marián Čekovský.
