Lords of the Sound

Orchestra Lords of the Sound returns to the Czech Republic with a renewed programme “Music is coming”. The concert in Bratislava will take place on 9 December, 2024 at Stars auditorium.

“Music is coming” is a combination of live orchestra, vocal ensemble and real magic, which movies and computer games in the fantasy genre are full of.

The orchestra will perform music from these films and computer games: Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, Vikings, Dune, Harry Potter, The Witcher, The Lord of the Rings, Wonder Woman, The Chronicles of Narnia, Avatar, Fantastic Beasts, Mad Max, Guardians of the Galaxy, Mortal Kombat, Star Wars, Matrix, The Fifth Element, Pirates of the Caribbean and more. These films may differ in genre and plot, but they are all united by the magic that exists beyond Hogwarts, which the Lords of the Sound orchestra “conjures” through music. Every note, every movement of the conductor, every instrument allows the audience to immerse themselves in other worlds where fairy tales, myths, dragons, unseen creatures, as well as supernatural forces have their place. The program “Music is Coming” features musicians from the orchestra, rock band, soloists and vocal ensemble.

The total length of the concert programme is approximately 150 minutes including the intermission.
