Attendees to reconvene in person in Bratislava
The 36th annual conference of the European Health Psychology Society will be hosted in Bratislava from 23 to 27 August 2022 in the Crowne Plaza Belgrade and the AC Hotel by Marriott Bratislava Old Town. Following two virtual editions, attendees will reconvene in person in the Slovakian capital. Bratislava Tourist Board will help co-organise the event and present the city as an emerging destination for association meetings.
Although the event will be organised in person, the organisers decided to offer attendees the option to attend online/virtually, should they be unable to attend in person. The European Health Psychology Society (EHPS) is a professional organisation formed to promote empirical and theoretical research in and applications of health psychology within Europe. Furthermore, the organisation’s events foster knowledge exchange and strive to unite professionals worldwide to solve common goals.
Initiative for sustainable travel
Both the EHPS and the Local Organizing Committee of the EHPS 2022 conference encourage green and sustainable travel. The organisers urge visitors to make environment-friendly decisions when planning their trip to Bratislava this year. They encourage them to use a user-friendly calculator that shows the most environmentally friendly ways to get to this year’s conference.
