Scenic fresco about the archaic forms of the struggle of life and death. The first is the traditional folk culture linked to the cycle of alternating winter and the arrival of life-giving spring. The second form is represented by the biblical story of the betrayal, persecution, capture, martyrdom and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Many will remain colorful even after drying, so you can count on the fact that the tied wreath will decorate your door, gate or wall for at least the whole spring. The spring arrangement in the shape of a wreath looks perfect on the dining table.

4. EASTER CONCERTS IN THE PHILHARMONY
The members of the Slovak Chamber Orchestra traditionally perform the Seven Last Words of Our Savior on the Cross by Joseph Haydn.
In addition, Stabat mater by Antonín Dvořák will be heard as part of the Easter concerts at the Philharmonic two days in a row. The oratorio is not only an extremely evocative setting to music of Jacopone da Todi’s text about the suffering of a mother whose son dies on the cross, but it is also a timeless statement about human sorrow and hope.
Although the text of the oratorio tells about the shadowy sides of human existence, the overall tone of the work is rather positive, bringing faith in life. The orchestra, choir and quartet of soloists will be led by the experienced Slovak conductor Ondrej Olos. The soloists are certainly well-known to the Bratislava and European public, as they regularly portray key characters in several opera houses.
